Default Big Jay Oakerson playing Minnesota

A friend of mine who is a stand-up comedian, Big Jay Oakerson, is playing Minnesota this week at the House of Comedy in the Mall of America. He's there Weds-Friday. I would suggest going to see him, he is hilarious.

For those of you who came to NY, his wife was out with us, Carla.

If you want an idea of his comedy look up tracks from his album "An American Storyteller". Very raunchy, a little bit like Dave Attell but less random.

He also did a hilarious WTF podcast with Marc Maron.

Good tip, I'll check this out. I listen to WTF but tend to skip over the one's where I don't know the guest.

I finally listened to Big Jay's Marc Maron interview... Had me rolling, some really great stories, and he tells them well.

They are really funny if you know him. He's like a total gentle giant. He's like 6'4" or 6'5" 300 lbs plus. Can picture someone thinking he'd make a great bouncer, but he's a total pushover.

His stories about his job as a escort driver/kids B-day party mascot (elmo)... what a combo, were hysterical...
