Comcast Xfinity

I had a chance last night to play with the Xfinity service that is provided for anyone that subscribes to Comcast. It's actually really cool - you can watch all the on demand offerings on your laptop or smartphone. You can also control your DVR(s) and schedule recordings. It looks like alot of the content is from Hulu plus but it looked remarkably good on my 13in laptop. I also tried HBO on demand and played Avatar for a bit in "near HD" quality. I could see stuttering and pixels but in a pinch it would look pretty good.

Service might be a great way to access your DVR and On Demand options while traveling or at work
