he ATI Catalyst 10.4a Preview provides resolution for the following issue:
* Long load times for new maps in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 when using a Windows 7 / Windows Vista based system with an:
o ATI Radeon HD 5xxx series graphics card
o ATI Radeon HD 4xxx series graphics card
o ATI Radeon HD 3xxx series graphics card
o ATI Radeon HD 2xxx series graphics card
Hotfix updated the Server Browser, made it look better and run more smoothly.
And you can save your loadouts. Woot
I really like the changes they made. The server browser is almost instant for me. My only complaint now is that after you find a server you like and play on it a bit it's not easy to add it to your favorites. If you don't write down the name it's hard to find again.
Have you tried server history at all? I've noticed since the update the servers I played on pop up in there now.
You know I totally wrote the server history off after it didn't work - I will check it tonight.
