How can these critics fall over themselves to praise another spoof and then largely trash Cop Out..


(it may be a great movie, I just haven't been a fan of a spoof type, or w/e you want to call it, movie since Airplane.)

Yeah kinda, but they are not shitting on them either.. Not like they do to comedies that try to break new ground (not just K. Smith stuff either)..

I bet it will be like a Step Brothers type movie. High possibility for quotability. I lol'd at a few things pretty hard in the trailer. A lot of those reviews were fence sitting but then throwing around that funniest SNL movie since Wayne's World. Which isn't saying much, although I happened to like The Ladies Man and a couple other SNL movies.

Saw MacGruber on Friday and agree with the critics. Bury your expectations and you will find yourself laughing at it. The girl I went with thought it was hilarious, but she is a fan of movies that are retarted funny.
