Since I installed the new motherboard/chip I have been using my 400Mhz XMS Corsair DDR memory with 2-3-3-6 timings. When you boot a MSI motherboard it shows the timings it uses (which are slower). So I finally figured out how to set up the correct (fast) timings in the BIOS. It's really easy to do. Just find your memory timings (newegg product descriptions). Go into the BIOS find the memory setting area (might say AUTO), change it to manual and set the following:

2-3-3-6 refers to

2=Cas Latency (Tcl)

3=RAS# to CAS# delay (Trcd)

3=Row Precharge Time (Trp)

6=Min RAS# active Time (Tras)

1T/2T Memory Timing = 1T is faster than 2T
