I actually really liked this movie. I didn't go into it expecting too much though. Not AA winning acting, but good and belivable.
The battle scenes were spectacular, they rivaled gladiator for sure.
It did not have enough flavor to impress greatly but held up well as the movie it was intended to be.

I really like the actor (i forget his name) who played that Baron/Count guy that dies in the middle of the movie. He is also the bad guy in Batman Begins, which he also does a very good job in.
That guy is awesome.
As far as this movie, i liked some of the action and dialogue in it but it definatly lacked that epic feel for some reason, like Gladiator had. Not sure why... ill have to watch it again because i havnt seen it since it was in theatres.

I liked this movie a lot. I wish orlando bloom wasnt the main character. I find it hard to believe in him as a lead in an "epic"... It is also interesting that he whoops so much ass with his sword when he is a blacksmith for most of his life and then just becomes a stud that can kill elite knights
