Over half of our owners are 1st or 2nd year fantasy players and won't understand the intricacies that are required to do well in an auction draft. I am all for the serpentine draft, ESPECIALLY since they are so many "newbies" drafting. <br /><br />An auction would take FOREVER to get thru. As it is a serpentine already takes about 3-4 hours to get thru. What I saw happen at the auction I was in was that the rookies paid way too much for their favorite player and have no cash left for anything else. I really like the idea that everyone has equal opportunity to have any player they want. If it took you guys 3 to 4 hours to do a serpentine draft then I really dont think an auction would take any longer. The first 20 to 30 players will take a few hours but after that it's just 1 dollar players and will go really fast. I am also in favor of a 50%/50% league will points for both yards and touchdowns (not sure what you did last year) Just my 2cents worth.
